Complete Strength and Conditioning

The Need

Joe Drain, the owner of Complete Strength and Conditioning, was operating his business out of leased space that also housed other sports activities. As his business grew, he knew that future expansion would necessitate moving into his own stand-alone facility that could be custom designed to meet the unique requirements of his business. In addition to a weight and strength training area, he needed a large, enclosed field training area with turf for speed and agility work. For the smaller strength training area, a single-story conventional metal structure would suffice. But for the field house, he needed something more.

The Solution

He chose a tension membrane structure from Signature due to its high ceilings, large clear span width, and cost-effective design. He further utilized Signature’s design and engineering services for the overall site plan to make sure the two structure types would have a seamless interface, for both aesthetic and practical purposes. The end result is a building that fits seamlessly into the overall design, an important detail for world-class sports training facilities.
