Background
In 2012, Forks Township in Pennsylvania opened a brand new Amphitheater at the Community Park to host concerts and other events to enhance the enjoyment of the park for their residents. They hired an outside firm to design and install a large canopy for weather protection. The Amphitheatre quickly became a popular attraction in the township.
The Challenge
Due to insurance requirements and the safety of its residents and the people performing on stage, an annual inspection program was required for tensile fabric structure. The company that designed and installed the system did not offer this service and did not have a recommendation. The Township needed a company with the expertise to provide these inspections that were flexible enough to work with the township and affordable enough not to overburden a tight budget.
