Chickasaw Bingo Hall

Background

The Chickasaw Tribe of Oklahoma were expanding their gaming operations and needed an economical solution for their newest bingo facility. Having worked for the tribe previously, it was evident that the Signature Team was the only option for successful project completion. Due to the custom design requirement, the tribe approached Signature a year in advance to achieve the best pricing.

Solution

Extensive site preparation and delay required Signature to “aid” in bringing the project back into the timeline by adhering to an aggressive construction schedule. The delay caused the structure to remained staged for 6 months, however, the high-quality products used did not create a problem for this long-term outdoor staging. The Choctaw’s past experience using an alternate membrane to PVC combined with previous site issues demanded a high strength PVC membrane with a self-cleaning topcoat for minimal maintenance be used. Due to the intricate interior infrastructure, Signature’s construction management expertise was brought to the table.

Details

The structure spans 156′ wide x 280′ long. High strength post dipped galvanized steel and 28 ounce PVC ensures unsurpassed industry longevity. It includes a second story for a bingo announcer and security and crawlspace to hide the electrical and allow access. Signature’s patented liner ventilation system and R-31 insulation guarantee an energy-efficient building with no condensation issues, and a fire suppression system ensures the structure exceeds all building codes. To save the client money, doors were rough framed and coordinated with local door companies to provide the system direct to the client. As a testament to the high-quality product and sound engineering practices, Signature’s design has survived tornado force wind bursts with no damage.
