Background
WestWorld of Scottsdale is a premier, nationally recognized, multi-use events facility. It is home annually to the largest collector car auction in the world held by Barrett Jackson.
The Challenge
Scottsdale, Arizona has a very dry, very hot climate with 299 days of sunshine per year. While dry is OK for collector cars, heat and UV are not, and the same can be said for the 10’s of thousands of visitors who attend every year. The client needed an affordable solution to enclose a great deal of space.
Solution
WestWorld acquired a number of tension fabric structures to enclose the auction space. These structures came from a variety of manufacturers. Signature was uniquely qualified to provide installation services for these structures, as our technicians and project managers have more experience putting up structures from a multitude of OEMs than anyone else in the industry.
The Result
While intended as a temporary solution until a permanent one could be developed, the client has been so pleased with the structures that they have become a permanent part of the annual auction.
