For several different reasons, fabric structure owners from time to time will have a need to determine or confirm that the structure they own meets local codes and is, in fact, safe for its intended use. Often times, this may occur when a new owner takes over a property that has a fabric structure on it, but the old owner did not convey any engineering or code approval documentation at the time of purchase. An owner may wish to add interior build out to their structure in the form of hanging lights, sprinklers, scoreboards, etc. and needs to know if their structure will still comply to codes with these loads added to the steel trusses. And unfortunately, an event may occur or an issue brought to light that calls into question the original engineering that went into the manufacture of their structure.
